This piece was created to immortalize the spirit of the heroes of the Holocaust and the legacy of my own Holocaust-survivor grandparents, great-aunts, and great-uncles. It serves as a reminder that it’s up to us to tell their stories and ensure they’re never forgotten.

The lips are made up of the faces of Holocaust heroes... those who saved children, hid families, spoke up, fought, worked undercover, and helped liberate. Behind every face is a story of courage, resistance, and hope.

Embedded in the painting is an excerpt from the Partisan Hymn, “Zog Nit Keynmol” (“Never Say”), a song of unwavering resistance and resilience.

- Signed, numbered, and includes a certificate of authenticity

A 1.5” white border is added around the artwork to allow for easy framing. Please note that this increases the total paper size slightly beyond the listed dimensions.
